BROADWAY JAZZ – This class will incorporate elements of jazz and ballet that directly tie into broadway-style jazz dance. This class focuses on teaching students to utilize emotion and acting, picking up choreography at a fast pace, as well as honing their performance skills.
AUDITIONS
LDS holds a team audition at the end of the summer before classes start for our September - June school year. This audition is for our teachers and choreographers to assess each students' technique in order to place them in the appropriate level. In addition, we will use this audition to see who is eligible for solos, duets, trios, and small groups apart from the required team group dance.

ACROBATICS – Students develop strength and flexibility through tumbling and other gymnastic movements on the mat.
ACRO/JAZZ – This is a beginner-level acro class that will focus on building strength, flexibility, and foundational skills. Students will work on cartwheels, limbers, front and back walkovers and other fun tricks. Elements of Jazz will also be incorporated; dance and acro skills will be combined in a recital routine.

Holiday Spirit Week - Wednesday, December 16 - Tuesday, December 22
Love of Dance Studio will be having our Holiday Spirit Week Wednesday, December 16 through Tuesday, December 22. On those dates, each class will be themed for the holidays and students are encouraged to celebrate by wearing their favorite holiday apparel or PJs to class!

2ND TUITION PAYMENT DUE JANUARY 15, 2021
The 2nd Tuition Payment (January-March) is due January 15, 2021.
PLEASE NOTE: Bills will be given out prior to winter break. Payments made past the 15th will result in a late fee.

Recital Costume Fee Due: November 18
The costume payment for our June Recital is due November 18. Please bring payment (cash or check only) to your child's class by or before November 18.
Costume Fees:
Each student will have to purchase a costume for each class they are in for the performance.

Pre, Basic, & Beginner Level Classes: $80.00 costume fee

Intermediate & Advanced Level Classes: $90.00 costume fee

Third & Fourth costumes take $5 off.

We invite parents to come and observe your child's class the week of November 18-23! We will be setting up chairs in the studio on the side for you. Please kindly take your shoes off before entering the studio.
